私の新しいポーチです。 My New Pouch.

The other day I received a new pouch! It was a free gift that came in a UniBEARsity book that I bought online. It is designed after Pudding, Minnie Mouse's creation. The front is her face, the back has a zipper on it, and it is attached to a line, so that you can wear it on your bag or your belt, and still be able to use it.

It is small, so it is perfect for carrying change in it. At the moment, my USB is inside because it keeps it safe! And, when I go back to Tokyo Disney, I may even use it to keep my ticket in!

When I do go back to Japan next year, I am going to buy the Pudding bear, and lots of outfits for her!

Disney UniBearsity Bears ディズニーUniBEARsityぬいぐるみ

Hello everyone!

I am here today to ask for your opinion! You see, when I go back to Tokyo Disney next year, I have decided that I want to buy a UniBEARsity bear! But, I am having a hard time deciding which one that I want.

For those of you who do not know, UniBEARsity bears are Disney plush toys that originated in Japan. In the story, Ludwig von Drake is a teacher at Disney University, and asks the students to design a school mascot. They all design and make a teddy bear each, which impresses von Drake (or, that is the story according to my ability to translate the video...)!

This video was a part of their introduction into the Disney Store line of merchandise, and since then, many different kinds of UniBEARsity bears have been released, and there are many different outfits that you can buy for them! I think that is one of the most exciting things about it for me!!!

So, I am currently stuck on these two bears:

This is Pudding, Minnie's bear!                                This is Puffy, Daisy's bear!
これはミニーのクマがプリンです。 これはデイジーのクマがパフィーです。

I think that they are both really cute. I am not basing this decision off of their outfits, as I can buy them the same outfits, as they are both the same size.

So, what do you think?

On the 8th of April, I went to see Cinderella with my husband. I was expecting an enjoyable movie with a familiar story, which is exactly what I got.

I was a little concerned that it would be too much like the animated version of Cinderella, but I have to say that they really breathed new life into the characters. I want to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but they really fleshed out the back stories of Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, and the Prince.

Richard Madden provided a very refreshing portrayal of Prince Charming. He got a lot more screen time than the original Prince Charming, and as such, he was much more enigmatic and able than the original.

While Lady Tremaine did get her own tragic back story, she was still so cruel that she certainly fulfilled the role of villain, and I believe that Cate Blanchett did an amazing job here.

Similarly amazing was Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, though she is slightly different from what you may remember. This Godmother is much more ditzy, and her magical ability is questionable...

I believe that the transformation scene was beautiful. It was well animated, well scored, and the mice, lizards, goose and pumpkin do not feel out of place in this live action adaptation. And, Cinderella's dress is unbelievable. I also really enjoy that the age old mystery (why don't her glass slippers disappear at midnight) is explained.

I think that the on screen chemistry between Lily James and Richard Madden really sold the true love that is felt between their characters. And, even though I knew that they would end up together, I couldn't help worrying about their happy ending!

If you are a fan of Cinderella, Disney, or even just fairy tales, then I think that it is well worth watching this movie. Even my husband liked it!

My Easter Gifts

Well, it has now been a few days since Easter, so I thought that maybe I would show you the Disney gifts that I received for Easter. I got them both from my mum : )

Frozen cup and mug with Easter eggs.

And below are some Easter plushies that were exclusive to Target. It is strange, I was looking for them for a few weeks before Easter, as soon as they were announced, but my local Target just didn't have them in stock. After Easter, I was in Target, and I found them! I didn't get them all, just one of the Minnie Mouse versions, and the Mickey version (there was also another Minnie Mouse, and an Olaf).

I hope that everyone had a nice Easter!!!

Darling Disney Duds: Easter 2015 Edition

Hello everybody!!!

Today in Australia, it is Easter! I think that our way of celebrating Easter is quite similar to the other parts of the world. We exchange chocolate (often in the shape of a bunny, or a bilby) and spend the day with family. Religious people often attend a special Easter mass that is dedicated to thanking Jesus for his sacrifice for us.

In Tokyo Disney Resort, Easter celebrations are in full swing, and that of course means that there is a special Easter parade (and a show at DisneySea too), so I thought that maybe this parade would be the source for our special outfits for the day in Darling Disney Duds: Easter 2015 Edition.

This video was uploaded to YouTube by one of my favourite Disney vloggers, Duffy Channel. If you enjoy her video, please check out her others, because they are all wonderful.

As you can see in the video, each character is wearing their own special Easter outfit. While they are all different, they do share something in common with all the others. Each outfit has bunny ears somewhere (whether in a headband for Pluto, or a cooking cap for Donald), and most of them also have a white, fluffy, bunny tail!

Which outfit was your favourite?
